Poultry Seasoning is peppery, sweet-spiced, and bittersweet.
Ingredients: Salt; Ground Coriander; Ground Rosemary; Whole Bay Leaves; Ground Sage and other spices. A natural blend of sea salt; herbs; and spices that compliments any poultry dish. Add to turkey; meatloaf or burgers. Great addition to chicken or turkey soup and broth. When roasting chicken; duck; goose; turkey or game; rub the inside of the bird's cavity with this seasoning and sprinkle some on top as well. Also good used in Easy Bread Stuffing: 1 loaf bread; cubed; 1 cup celery; diced; 1 cup onion; diced; 2 eggs; 4 TBSP butter; 1 cup milk; 1 tsp chicken broth mix or bullion powder; 4 tsp Poultry Seasoning. In a saucepan sautee the celery; onions & butter until tender and almost transparent; set aside and cool. Mix the bread cubes; eggs; milk; chicken broth mix and Poultry Seasoning in a large bowl. Add the celery/onion/butter mix. Blend just until all the bread is moistened. Pour into a buttered 9x13 baking pan or dish. Bake at 300F for 40 minutes.
